How we share things with each other

  We are Diana and Alex We are a married couple just trying to be a little bit better everyday. Whether we call it Wellness, Self-Care, a growth journey, or anything else, it's about trying to become the best version of ourselves individually and as a couple. We try to take it one step at a time but also  believe that wellness encompasses so many  aspects of our lives–mental, physical, spiritual, financial, and emotional. We started this journey individually by ourselves a long time ago and when we met, we discovered that we both had the hunger to always seek out ways to "be better" and to grow in all aspects of our lives– so we started doing it together. Self- care isn’t just for Women

  It seems like the term “Self-Care” is too often almost exclusively associated with young women. You  often see an influencer in her 20's posting about a skin routine on social media, whose audience is usually all girls. Self-Care is for everyone though (and so is skin care for that matter) and anyone and everyone can try to be better in any or all aspects of their life. Young and old, girl or boy, single, or married– self care is for anybody.  Stretching, nutrition, working out, body grooming, connecting with nature, light therapies, affirmations, journaling, reading, meditation– none of these are exclusive to one type of person They are for humans. Self-Care isn’t a thing you do temporarily either, it’s a lifestyle. It's about changing your habits and making them become your nature. It’s not like you have a night/morning skin care routine to do for a month and then stop because you achieved the clear skin you wanted– it is about the consistency in the routine that will help

What do we refer to when we say "Wellness" In the past years, we have noticed that when certain people use the term Wellness, it's to refer to only one thing; physical health from workouts and nutrition.  Wellness goes way beyond that though. It's about our entire self, about taking care of all aspects of our lives–mental, physical, spiritual, financial, and emotional. Mental health • Sit down and go through your thoughts to figure out whats your next move • Try to have clarity in your head so you don't make any rush decisions • Understand that clarity is what we need to control our minds Remember... the only things that we can fully control are our minds, our thoughts and our will. Physical health  • How our gut is working, how strong our muscles are, how flexible we become, how clear our skin is, and understanding how to move the right way. • Can we do the simple physical things throughout the day with ease? • Are we in pain? Love Yourself First

Love What a wonderful thing. Although it's funny because when we think about love the first thing that comes to mind is someone else.  We think the first person we should think about is ourselves.  We should know how to love ourselves first. We should understand: how do we communicate with love? Which one is our primary love language? After learning how to love ourselves fully and understanding "how" we love, then when we should let others love us; we will know how we want to be loved and how we deserve to be loved. Self-care is very important for one’s growth but it’s not just something we do by ourselves. If we are on a self-care journey and we have a partner/significant other that is on the same path, then why not share activities that help us BOTH grow?
